The American Legion Post No. 173 celebrated Memorial Day on Monday with its annual tribute to veterans.
The event was at Veterans Memorial Park in Hays.
Veterans of various wars standing up to receive recognition and applause. 
Placing memorial roses for past veterans. 
American flags placed for the holiday down 27th. 
The American flag waving at half staff. 
The American Legion sharing stories of soldiers from the Hays community.
