Yazmin Rojas and Kady Latham, along with fellow Circle K members, came together for a special service project in celebration of Valentine’s Day. During their annual club meeting, members and guests assembled festive goodie bags filled with handwritten notes, fruit snacks, flavored water packets, suckers, and more. These bags will be distributed to students tomorrow at noon for Valentine’s Day in the Union, offering a simple yet heartfelt way to spread kindness and brighten someone’s day.

In addition to the service project, the meeting concluded with an uplifting activity led by Diane Hernandez Ramirez called “Penny for Your Thoughts.” Each member was encouraged to share a positive experience from their week. Hernandez Ramirez kicked things off by expressing her excitement about a recent conversation with an administrative specialist, who provided valuable support and encouragement for a new club initiative.

This event not only strengthened the club’s sense of community but also reinforced its commitment to service and positivity.
