For those that love bright colorful lights this time of year Re/Max Pro of Hays is right there with you! Over the course of the month, they have been presenting the Tour of Lights contest. The best-registered house and lawn Christmas light displays are voted on by the Hays and surrounding town communities, and the house with the most votes wins and is crowned champion.
To vote, text the corresponding number of your favorite light display to 785-639-TOUR (8687). Voting ends Friday, December 20th, only one vote per cell phone number per day.
A cash prize and plaque are awarded to the house that gets the most votes.
“This is our first year providing the contest. It was originally created as a way to bring the community together and get the community involved with our business. Our goal was to do something that everyone could participate in,” said Re/Max Pro broker Tim Cossaart.
