Kelly Wycoff turned in a solid day at the 2017 Nebraska Tune-Up on Friday (Feb. 17) by hitting two provisional times and breaking her own school record in the 400-meter dash.

Wycoff had a seventh-place finish in the 400 meters with a time of 56.99, scratching out a provisional mark and setting the school record. She ranks 43rd nationally in the event. She placed fifth in the 200-meter dash where she once again hit a provisional time of 25.03 seconds. It was just shy of her best mark of the season, 24.96 at the Concordia Invitational.

Kylee Poague and Courtney Geiger had the best finishes for FHSU at the Steve Miller Open in Manhattan, Kan. Poague was sixth in the 400 meters in a time of 1:01.68, while Geiger was sixth in the shot put at 40 feet, 8.25 inches.

The Tigers now gear up for the MIAA Championships held next weekend (Feb. 24-26) at Missouri Southern in Joplin.
