Fort Hays State cross country held its annual Alumni Run, sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken, on Saturday August 29 at the Sand Plum Nature Trail, just outside Victoria, Kan. Several alumni participated in the exhibition on a beautiful, cool morning.
The men ran a 5000 meter run, while the women ran 4000 meters. The top three men were Cory Keehn, Seth Parres, and Jacob Thomas, while the top three women were Micki Krzesinski, Chelsea Jackson, and Sophie Dalmasso. Times are not reported with the event being an exhibition. The top three men alumni were Dan Yoder, Cameron Rieth, and Wesley Toews. The top three women alumni were Raven Boettger, Marie Schaller, and Bridget Brown.
FHSU opens the season on Friday, September 4 at Colby Community College in Colby, Kan.
