The 12th-ranked Fort Hays State men’s soccer team play tonight at home for the first time this year. The Tigers are off to a 3-1 start and have moved up two positions in the national poll after starting the season ranked 14th. The match is set to begin at 7 pm.
MIAA point leader Maurizio Costa (9 pts) looks to help lead the Tigers past Lubbock Christian. LCU enters undefeated with a 3-0 record. The Chaparrals come to Hays averaging 4.0 goals per game as the Tiger defense looks to slow down the scorching hot offense.
Costa has four goals on the season, as well as one assist. Mauricio Castorino has also been very active in the offense, chipping in three goals and two assists of his own (8 pts).
