Fort Hays State women’s track and field scored six points during Saturday’s competition at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Warrensburg, Mo. FHSU sits in ninth place in the team standings heading into competition Sunday.Anna Eigruber generated half of the six points for FHSU, earning three in the triple jump by finishing sixth. She jumped 38’8.25″.
Micki Krzesinski scored a point for the Tigers by finishing eighth in the 5,000-meter run. She covered the distance in a time of 18:22.29. The distance medley relay team of Shea Bonine, Mindy Wilson, Vanessa Resh, and Alex Keehn produced two points by finishing seventh with a time of 12:51.86.
Lexi Riedel stepped up for the Tigers in the 60-meter dash, running a personal best time of 7.74 seconds to finish fifth in the prelims. She will compete in the finals on Sunday.
