On Oktoberfest weekend, local bars will host live music entertainment.
Thursday, Oct. 9:
Jacob Cummings will perform at Gella’s. He is a guitar playing singer-songwriter out of Everett, Wash. His music falls under the genre of blues and pop. His music has and easy listening feel, compared to John Mayer and Jack Johnson. He recently finished his EP “Hopeless Love Songs” which shows his versatility. He got the inspiration for the album from everyday situations a person my go through with love and everyday living. The show starts at 8:30 p. m. and is open to all ages.
Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11:
In celebration of Oktoberfest, Singers will host Paramount 80’s Rock Night for the second consecutive week. Paramount 80’s is the house band for The Paramount Bar in Salina. With the constant growth of their fan base, Paramount 80s have traveled surrounding cities and states. The band specializes in sounds like: Journey, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Van Halen, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Guns N’ Roses. On both nights doors will open at 7 p.m. with the performances starting at 9 p.m. attendees must be 21 and older to attend.
