The Student Government Association met for its regular meeting on Thursday.
During the executive reports, President Marcell Delly said that the SGA is accepting applications from student organizations to sell flowers at both the fall and spring commencement ceremonies.
Applications are due October 1.
Public Relations Director Anna Shubert told the Senate about some volunteer opportunities.

In the Open Forum, Sen. Ben Wilkerson spoke about student concerns and asked for ideas.
“We’re not really out there. People know that student government is a thing, but they don’t really see us on campus unless they come here to ask for money,” he said. “I don’t know if anyone had any ideas of how we would become more actively engaged.”
Ideas included SGA merchandise for senators to wear, splitting up the executive staff and senators to meet all the student organizations, and inviting constituents to SGA-sponsored events.
There was no new business.
In Old Business, one bill was up for second reading.
Bill 26.F.102 requested that the Flamenco Club distribute $1,006.12 across different line items within the Club. Their overall club budget will remain the same.
The bill passed unanimously.
