Gilbert Peters starts the rivalry game against the Kearney Lopers at tip off. “We stepped it up after our loss last game,” said Peters. “This was a good bounce-back game for us and helped us gain back our confidence.”

Traejon Davis has possession of the ball on the perimeter as he looks to see what his options are on offense. “We know how hard it is to win in the MIAA,” said Davis. “You have to give 100% effort the whole game to stay competitive in the conference.”

Peters receives the ball in the paint and works the defense to find an open shot near the goal. “We struggled some with shooting but pushed all the way through the buzzer and fought throughout the whole game.”

Davis going in for a slam dunk. “This win was great,” said Davis. “It was just what we needed after losing the last 2 of our 3 games to get us back on track.”
Bjarni Jonsson stole the ball from the Lopers near half court and was able to get a wide open shot to the goal.
