Both teams played tough defense, leaving only a total of 11 shots by both teams in the game. Reitz faces this defensive front in this photo.

Newall battles for a headbutt near the goal to give the Tigers a lead during last night’s game. Although it was a shot at scoring, Newall missed the target and the Seahawks goalie picked up the ball. The Tigers shot 4 more times throughout the game, all ending scoreless.
This was a low shot game for both sides though. Keeper, Isabel Robbens, secured for saves of the Seahawks 4 shots on goal. “A positive environment, supporting each other, confidence in one another and our abilities,” Robbens said has been key to the Tigers’ no loss record of 8-0-5.

Diaz outruns a defender and gains a foul on the play. She ended the night with the only shot on goal for the Lady Tigers.
Britney Arnesen runs towards Diaz’s shot in an attempt to secure the goal, but the Seahawks goalie beats her to it and protects the net from the tigers shot. The game ends with no scores by either team.
In order to continue their no-loss streak in future games, Madden stated “We’ll need to focus on continuing to work together, looking to connect, and finishing opportunities at the goal. Staying strong in the back will also be key, our defense will be big for upcoming matches.”
Hutchings fights to keep control over the ball, just as the Tigers will continue to fight to keep their record clean.
