Campus returns to “normal” with BBQ celebration

BY JOHN CARTER JR

Fort Hays University hosted a BBQ last week in celebration of the faculty and staff returning to campus full time. People on campus gathered in the quad to enjoy burgers, chips, and cookies. Faculty, staff, and student workers were all invited to enjoy this summer celebration.

Members of campus from different departments ate together in the quad for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic with reduced restrictions. Ashley Anderson, a staff member working the event said she was very happy and pleased with the turnout of the event.

This was the case for all in attendance as there was much conversation and laughter. Another worker mentioned how they were also happy with the success.
