Women’s soccer drops match to Bearcats

Fort Hays State Women’s Soccer fell 2-0 to Northwest Missouri State on Sunday afternoon at FHSU Soccer Stadium. The loss puts the Tigers at 4-4-1 overall and they finished 2-3 in divisional play for the spring.

The Bearcats scored a goal in each half to leave Hays with the victory. Kaylie Rock netted the first goal for the Bearcats and Hannah Stirling put in the second. Alex Mausbach assisted on both goals for the Bearcats.

The Bearcats also ended divisional play with a level overall record, going 3-3-1. They went 2-2 in division play as their match at Nebraska-Kearney was canceled earlier in the week.

The Tigers have gone scoreless in all four of their losses this spring
