Ring in the new year in Hays with multiple New Year’s Eve parties

Bring in the new year with a fun-filled evening with family and friends at a local NYE party!

Multiple Hays businesses are hosting New Year’s Eve parties this year, all events take place Tuesday, December 31st. 

The Hays Community Theatre will be hosting their party starting at 8:00 p.m. costing $35 per person, or a table for 8 can be reserved for $270. There will be hors d’oeuvres, dancing, live entertainment, 1920’s dance competitions, party favors, and lots of fun.

Visit the Hays VFW starting at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy live classic and modern rock music from Red Line Velocity, a local band out of Smith Center.

The Paisley Pear Wine Bar, Bistro, & Market is hosting a party starting at 7:30 p.m. accepting reservations only, with specials including $20.20 for a small cheese board & champagne bottle and $20.20 for two flights. Wade Richard will be performing live music, and game boards are encouraged.   

The Ellis County Fairboard is hosting a party in the Unrein Family Building at the Ellis County Fairgrounds starting at 8:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person or $40 per couple. Hard liquor can be brought in but beer must be purchased. A raffle with great prizes will be held. Tickets will be for sale at the Convention & Visitors Bureau or contact a fair board member for more information. 

Sip ‘N Spin’s party will consist of drinks and great fun, and will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. Gella’s will host their party costing $100 per person or a group of 8 for the price of 7, with a package that includes local jazz quartet from 6:30-9:30, dueling pianos, the big show out of KC from 10:00-12:15, a 6-course meal, late-night nacho bar, champagne toast and a commemorative 2020 champagne flute!

The Brass Rail will have a champagne toast at midnight and their party will begin at 9:00 p.m.

The Golden Q will feature karaoke night and a fun NYE party starting at 9:30 p.m.
