The second day of homecoming week had fun and games for everyone at the Carnival on the Quad. Students and families around Hays were welcomed to join in on the activities on Tuesday evening.

Several Fraternities and Sororities attended and had fundraising games for things all around Hays. Sigma Chi members drew caricatures for attendees. Each caricature was $2 and all of the proceeds went to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Delta Zeta had a Shake an Egg & Guess the Sound table for $1. The correct guess received a $25 gift card to On the Rocks here in Hays.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon had darts and a bean bag toss for $1. These proceeds went to the Hays Arc. Phi Delta Theta had targets to shoot with Nerf guns. Sigma Tri hosted the Pie a Tri event. The final frat, Alpha Gamma Rho, had a ring toss game.

The University Activities Board had bouncy houses and a plate toss. The plate toss was 5 throws for $1 and the students got to throw plates at the opposing team’s mascot (stickers), the Emporia Hornet. The proceeds went towards the bouncy houses and towards more activities for the students.

There was tons of fun and a lot of money raised for the people of Hays. The Homecoming Carnival was a success, if you missed the Carnival there are many more activities coming up this week. Wednesday night the Student Organization Rally is being held at 8 p.m. and the Bonfire will be Thursday night.
