Indian Soccer ties against Blue Jays

Hays High Soccer played at home this Tuesday against Junction City. Battling throughout the whole first half, the Indians held the Blue Jays to no goals along with the Indians being short to finish the whole first half. The Indians spent most of their time in Junction City territory coming up just short of a few goals. They went into half-time with a score of 0-0. 

Still battling in the second half neither team was able to score due to amazing defense by both squads. The Indians fought the whole second half coming just short of very close goal attempts. Neither team scored in the second half taking it into a 10 minute overtime.  

During overtime, both teams had many chances to score. The Indians still came up short, but that didn’t stop them. The Indian defense was unbeatable keeping Junction City to a scoreless overtime as well. This then took the game into double overtime. 

With an extra 10 minutes added to the Indians belt, they battled through it all playing and going back and forth the whole game with the Blue jays. With no team scoring again in the double-overtime, the game ended with a tie, 0-0

The Indians are now 2-7-1 and will host the Liberal Redskins in their last home game this Thursday, October 3rd starting at 4.
