Northglen Antiques and South Side Mini-Mall host a swap meet every third Saturday each month at 2010 Vine Street from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. Local vendors outside Northglen Antiques can be seen selling anything from unique creations to furniture to antique toys and pins. Depending on the weekend there are live-action booths like a bake sale from Hays High and candle making.
This is a place where people can show off their hobbies and inform the community more about themselves. The antique store and mini-mall are also open during these times with more curated merchandise to look through.
Inside is always bustling, not only with customers but also with the Red Hot Chili Pipers- the owners’ favorite group to listen to- and with the paws of three Scottish terriers who often come in with the owner of Northglen Antiques.
