KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State received the No. 4 seed in the 2018 MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament on Sunday (Oct. 28). FHSU will host an opening-round tournament game on Wednesday (Oct. 31) against No. 5 seed Missouri Western at 6 pm inside FHSU Soccer Stadium.

Emporia State, which held the tiebreaker over FHSU for the No. 3 seed, plays host to No. 6 seed Northeastern State. FHSU and Emporia State tied for third in the regular season standings, but Emporia State’s win over FHSU in conference play broke the tie for seeding.

Following opening round games hosted by the top four seeds in the tournament, the remainder of the tournament will take place at the highest remaining seed’s home field. The semifinals are set for Friday, November 2 and the championship will be on Sunday, November 4
