President Mason Announces Search Committee for Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost

Last week, Dr. Tisa Mason, President of Fort Hays State University, announced the search committee for the new Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. Dr. Mason, along with the presidents of the faculty, staff, and student senates, determined the committee from a pool of volunteers.

The following individuals were identified and have agreed to serve on the committee:

Grady Dixon – Academy of Academic Leadership

Paul Faber – Academic Council

Tony Gabel – College of Business & Entrepreneurship*

Nicholas Glassman – Student

Jason Harper – College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences

Dennis King – Student Affairs

Shannon Lindsey – Administrative Affairs

Denise Orth – College of Health & Behavioral Sciences

Jennifer Sauer – Library

Janet Stramel – College of Education*

Brian Swanson – China

Dr. Mason doesn’t anticipate the on-campus interviews to begin until the fall semester. Any questions regarding the search can be directed to the appropriate representative of your college or group.
