RHA: Staying Over Break and Executive Evaluations

BY MARISSA CASTANOS

The Residence Hall Association met once again at 6:30 pm in McMindes 2R last night.

RHA discussed how successful their Safe Trick-Or-Treat event was, and thanked each of the residence halls for helping or participating in the event. RHA also put on an event at the most recent home football game, where they gave out free t-shirts to students who are currently living on campus.

Vice President Kyle Ochampaugh discussed what was talked about at the McMindes Hall Council meeting, where students were asking about staying on campus over both Fall and Christmas breaks. If you would like to stay on campus over those two breaks, you can go to the Residential Life website and fill out a form explaining why you would wish to do so.

McMindes hall representatives discussed that they are planning a game night on Monday, November 11 at 7 pm, and including a variety of games such as board games and ping pong tournaments. This game night will be help in McMindes 2R and also the rec room on the first floor of McMindes.

At the end of the meeting, the group’s advisor handed out executive evaluations for all of the RHA members – for the exception of the executive board – to fill out.

If you would like to attend an RHA meeting, they are held every Thursday night at 6:30 pm in McMindes 2R.
