Finding friends through faith

Fort Hays State University is full of great opportunities to get involved and meet new people.

Finding friends through faith is one of the many options offered here on campus. FHSU has embraced nearly seven religious groups over the years.

Encounter, Catholic Disciples, US 4 U, Christian Challenge, Christian Students on Campus, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and United Methodist Student Organization, are all diverse groups to become a part of.

Encounter meets every Wednesday night from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Celebration Community Church.

Catholic Disciples meet every Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. at the Comeau Catholic Campus Center.

US 4 U meets the first Monday and Third Thursday of every month in the Union.

There is a bible study at 5:30 p.m. followed by a meeting at 6:00 p.m.

Christian Challenge meets every Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. at 1300 Harvest Road, Hays, KS, 67601.

Christian Students on Campus meet every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. at 708 W 12th ST APT 2-B, Hays, KS, 67601

Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets every other Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. in room 219 in the Union.

United Methodist Student Organization meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Campus Center.

From camping trips and barbeques to fellowship and singing, there is always something for you to enjoy. Each group offers unique, interesting, and fun activities to participate in. Check out https://tigerlink.fhsu.edu/organizations for details regarding the various religious groups.
