Women’s Leadership Project Shows Students They Are Enough

By Lauren Solzman

“We are our own worst critics. Explore the gap between how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us. Redefine how you perceive yourself. You are enough.”

This Thursday, April 21st from 1:00 to 4:30 in the Memorial Union Black and Gold Room, the Women’s Leadership Project is giving the FHSU community the opportunity to see how we truly are our own worst critics.

Live artists will sketch portraits of volunteer models, and will help participants to reflect on their individuality as well as the traits that make them uniquely beautiful. There will also be activities, exercises, and tips on how to improve your self image.

The Creative Arts Society, the Panhellenic Council, the American Democracy Project and the American Association of University Women are also sponsors.

To volunteer to be sketched, email womensleadershipproject@fhsu.edu to reserve a time.

The event is free and open to FHSU students, faculty and staff.
