HAYS, Kan. — Outstanding fall 2015 graduates were announced in a ceremony Friday by the Department of Nursing at Fort Hays State University.
The on-campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing award for outstanding clinical performance, community involvement, and academic achievement was awarded to Nicole Beesley, Dighton, and Taylor Kisner, Victoria.
The Outreach B.S.N. award for outstanding clinical performance, community involvement, and academic achievement was awarded to Joshua O’Floinn, Burlington, Vt.
The graduate student award winner for demonstrating involvement and academic achievement was Kelly Cole, who is graduating from the Master of Science in Nursing program.
The Stroup awards were created in 1993 in honor of Leora B. Stroup, founder of the nursing program at FHSU.
