FHSU Women Place Sixth at Cowboy Jamboree

Fort Hays State Women’s Cross Country finished sixth in the University Division at the Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla., on Saturday (Sept. 26). The University Division consisted of several NCAA Division I schools.

Micki Krzesinski was the top finisher for the women on the 6K course, finishing 29th overall with a 22:54.9 time.

Chelsea Jackson (34th in 23:20.0), Sophie Dalmasso (37th in 23:34.4), and Shea Bonine (39th in 24:01.6) all finished in the top 40 for the Tigers, and Yessenia Gonzales rounded out the scoring finishing 42nd with the time of 24:42.1.

Next, the Tigers will be home for The FHSU Tiger Open at Sand Plum Nature Trail just outside Victoria, Kan., on Saturday (Oct. 10).
