KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State’s Mallory Flagor earned MIAA Volleyball Hitter of the Week on Monday (Sept. 21) for her efforts over the past weekend at the Johnson & Wales Tournament in Denver. She helped the Tigers go 4-0, improving the team’s overall record to 8-4.

Flagor was very efficient, hitting .500 with 50 kills and just six errors on 88 attempts. She averaged a team-best 4.17 kills per set, 1.33 blocks per set, and 4.92 points per set. She hit .692 in a win over York College by going errorless with nine kills on 13 attempts. She hit over .400 in all four matches and recorded six blocks in two of the four matches.

With the strong weekend, Flagor now has 151 kills so far for the season, averaging 3.43 per set. She also holds the team lead in blocks with 34, averaging 0.77 per set.
