Berry Wins High Jump to lead FHSU Women at Concordia Invitational

Fort Hays State University women’s track and field was in action at the Concordia University Invitational in Seward, Neb., on Thursday. Danielle Berry was the only Tiger victorious in an event as she won the high jump.

Berry topped the high jump field with an effort of 5’5″. It didn’t improve on her provisional qualifying mark and she still ranks 13th nationally. Teammate Wendy Zimmerman matched her in height, but took more attempts to clear, thus placing her second. It matched her provisional qualifying mark in the event she posted earlier in the year, but still ranks 43rd nationally.

Several other members of the women’s team were in action at the meet.
