Fort Hays State University’s Science Cafe will meet at Gella’s Diner and Lb. Brewing Co. beginning at 7 p.m.

P. Grady Dixon, chair and associate professor of geosciences at Fort Hays State University, will present “Hail and Dear and Answers to Your Questions About Storm Chasing.”

Thursday, November 20

Singers will feature Jackyl beginning at 8 p.m. Jackyl is an American rock band described as hard rock, heavy metal and Southern metal. Their eponymous album has sold more than a million copies in the United States with released hit singles like “Down on Me” and “When Will it Rain” too. The band is best known for its song “The Lumberjack”, which features a chainsaw solo by lead singer Jesse James Dupree.

Saturday, November 22

The American country music duo, LoCash Cowboys, will perform live at Singers beginning at 8 p.m. Must be 18 or older to stay for the show.

Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, natives of Baltimore, Maryland and Kokomo, Indiana, respectively signed to R&J Records for which they released three singles. In 2012, the LoCash Cowboys released the single “C.O.U.N.T.R.Y.” through Average Joes Entertainment.
