Love seemed to be in the air this past Valentine’s Day at FHSU. Campus clubs and organizations were doing their best to help students celebrate the holiday by promoting their club and handing out treats in the union.
One, in particular, was the University Activities Board hosting their “Petal on the Patios” event. They encouraged students to write out a card to their Valentine, friends, or even a relative. You could also receive a flower to give to your special someone as well. They also had a giveaway where two winners could win a Valentine’s Day goodie bag filled with treats and other prizes.
Another important part about Valentine’s day is the candy! Not only did the UAB hand out free candy to students but so did other organizations like the International Student Union, Financial Assistance, and the Inclusion and Diversity organization.
So whether you were spending Valentine’s Day with that special someone or flying solo, FHSU made sure that everyone was feeling the love this February 14th!
