Who are you?
Skyler Jones, The Afterthought from 3-6 every Monday. I am majoring in history education.
What is the theme of your radio show?
I love music but I am also passionate about sports and politics, so my show has a little bit of all that.
What gave you the idea for your show name and DJ name?
The show name just seemed cool, I didn’t want a DJ name. It seemed kind of corny.
What interested you in being apart of college radio?
A man at a back to school picnic table got me interested, and I decided to give it a try and I love it.
What is your favorite part about college radio?
My favorite part of college radio is getting to do or say whatever I want, and having my friends and family respond.
Why should people listen to your show?
People should listen to my show because they probably don’t get a great Kansas City influence out here and I pretty much play any kind of music, so there is something for everybody.
Who is your favorite band/artist?
My favorite artist is Radiohead, but I don’t play a lot of them on the radio.
What is your favorite song?
My favorite song is Reckoner by Radiohead, a song about death.
What do you Netflix?
I watched most of Friends on Netflix but currently, I’m watching The Office.
What is your least favorite song and why?
My least favorite song is Chicken Fried because it’s so uncreative but so popular.
What is your least favorite Disney movie and why?
I don’t remember anything about Disney movies, sorry.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? (only basic people say flying)
I If I had a superpower, I would definitely want to be able to communicate with the dead.
