Tiger Women Compete at Kansas State and Nebraska

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Fort Hays State had several members of the women’s track and field team compete at the KSU Steve Miller Open on Friday (Feb. 19). The Tigers turned in three top-three finishes in events, two by sprinter Kelly Wycoff.

Wycoff ran a time of 25.88 in the 200 meters, finishing second in the event. It was a new personal indoor best by Wycoff in the event. She also took third in the 400 meters in a time of 59.96 seconds. Selam Ball joined Wycoff among the top three finishers for the Tigers, taking third in the pole vault with a height of 11 feet, 2.25 inches. Lexi Riedel ran the fastest time by a Tiger in the 60 meters this indoor season, finishing fourth in 7.91 seconds.

LINCOLN, Neb. – Several distance runners competed at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Friday (Feb. 19). Amanda Morgan had the top finish among those competing, finishing fourth in the 5000 meters in a time of 19:15.38. Micki Krzesinski turned in her best time in the mile, running 5:06.80 to finish seventh in the event.
