Fort Hays State women’s basketball returns to action on Thursday evening in St. Charles, Mo., where they will face Lindenwood University. Game time is set for 5:30 pm at Hyland Arena. The No. 3 ranked Tigers enter the game at 12-1 overall and 6-1 in the MIAA. Lindenwood is 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the MIAA.
The Tigers look for their third straight win after a pair of home wins on Saturday and Monday against Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern. FHSU remains in second place in the MIAA standings, only behind Missouri Western, which sits at 8-0 in conference play.
Lindenwood has lost four of its last five games but holds a record of 4-2 at home so far. Lindenwood is back at home after a pair of road losses on Saturday and Monday at Washburn and Emporia State.
Chelsea Mason leads FHSU in scoring at 13.7 points per game while Jill Faxon averages 12.4 points per game. Beth Bohuslavsky hit a milestone on Monday in the win over Missouri Southern. She now has at least 700 points, 300 rebounds, and 300 assists in her career. She now has 733 points, 318 assists, and 300 rebounds. Elle Stein has been solid in the post of late, averaging 7.3 points and 7.0 rebounds over the last four contests. She had a career-high 14 rebounds in the win over Missouri Southern.
