BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Fort Hays State Men’s Golf finished 15th at the NSU Classic held in Bartlesville, Okla., at Hillcrest Country Club, September 21-22. Lane Pauls and Koby Beougher led the Tigers, each tying for 69th.
Pauls shot rounds of 78, 84, and 80, while Beougher shot 77, 87, 78. Landon Fox finished in a tie for 72nd with rounds of 80, 83, 81. Jake Weller was 78th with rounds of 86, 90, and 82. Cash Hobson finished 81st with rounds of 89, 85, and 88.
The Tigers shot 981 as a team. Henderson State won the tournament at 874, while Southwestern Oklahoma State was five strokes back at 879. Washburn was the top MIAA team at the tournament in fourth with 896.
The Tigers return to action next week at the Kansas Wesleyan Tournament in Salina, Kan.
