Republican Mike Rounds is in the lead of the South Dakota senate midterm elections with Rick Weiland and Larry Pressler trailing behind.
Rounds has 51 percent of the vote with 70,108 votes, Weiland has 28 percent of the vote with 39,126 votes, and Pressler has 17 percent with 23,592 votes.
45 percent of the votes have been reported in South Dakota so far.
