FHSU Wrestling competes in Black and Gold Scrimmage; Black grabs 31-26 victory

Fort Hays State Wrestling held its annual Black and Gold Scrimmage on Tuesday evening, debuting the 2014-15 squad with less than one week until the regular season opener.  In the intrasquad contest, the Black team came out victorious, defeating Gold in a narrow match, 31-26.
Challenge match winners for the night included Adam Ludwin (Gold, 125), Tyler Dryden (Gold, 141), Joey Dozier (Gold, 149), Bradley Little (Black, 157), Bryce Lewis (Black, 165), Josh Rodriguez (Gold, 174), Jon Inman (Black, 184), Cash Drylie (Gold, 197) and Trey Page (Black, 285).

In an exhibition, Anthony Calderon (Black, 133) was one of three Tigers to win by fall, joining Lewis and Drylie with six-point victories for their respective teams.

The Tigers open the 2014-15 campaign this Saturday (Nov. 8) at the Bethany Swede Open in Lindsborg, Kan.
