The Thomas More Prep-Marian baseball team earned a pair of run-rule wins Tuesday to secure another trip to the Class 2-1A state tournament next week.
The Monarchs, one of the top teams in 2-1A all season, beat Medicine Lodge 9-0 in the semifinals. That set up a title game against Little River, which beat Bucklin/South Central 12-1 in the other semifinal.
TMP dominated the title game, claiming a 16-1 victory to make state for the third year in a row.
Pairings, times and location will be announced after the final regional tournament today.
