During Thursday’s Student Government Association meeting, the executive board updated the senate about what they have been doing to begin the semester.
President Jackson Sinsel met with the Trustees, attended a cabinet meeting, and updated TigerLink with the dates of SGA meetings.
Vice President Brenna Schwien worked on senator orientations and talked at welcome receptions for faculty, staff, and international students.
Treasurer Caden Becker talked to the Purchasing Office, Business Office, and Student Fiscal Office, and is working on updating appropriations forms.
Legislative Affairs Director Grace McCord is brainstorming speakers for the fall open forum.
Public Relations Director Madison Albers is arranging the Green event and brainstorming ideas for World Graditude Day.
Campus Relations Director Star Parham is working on the Green event, also working with HALO for Hispanic Heritage Month.
In New Business, Bill No. 25.F.100 was discussed and will be voted on next week. This bill is the president and vice president forwarding the following nominees to serve the FHSU Student Government Association: Caden Becker, Treasurer; Grace McCord, Legislative Affairs Director; Madison Albers, Public Relations Director; Star Parham, Campus Relations Director.
The next SGA meeting will be at 7 pm on Thursday, September 4, in the Robbins Center.
