The Fort Hays State University Student Government Association tended to regular business on Thursday.

During the Open Forum, Treasurer Jackson Sinsel suggested training for organizations receiving allocation funding.

“Student organizations that are receiving allocations funding should be required to attend trainings to ensure that they are able to fulfill what the funding is for,” he said.

Within the discussion, the senate agreed that some kind of training should happen; however, how that will look will be discussed in the future.

During New Business, two new bills were up for first read and will be voted on at next week’s meeting.

Bill No. 25-S-128 is for a line item change for Epsilon Pi Tau.

Bill No. 25-S-129 is for a line item change for the Art History Club.

In Old Business, two bills were up for a second read and voted on.

Resolution No. 25-S-111 regards Fort Hays State University and the Commencement Committee continuing to print physical graduation booklets for all graduating students and attendees.

Wavier No. 25-S-100 enables L3: Live Learn Lead Learning Community to be considered for funding through any normal means as defined in the governing documents of the Student Government Association.

Both the resolution and waiver were unanimously passed.
