By UNIVERSITY COMMUNICATIONS

Robbins College of Business Management Development Center will host a public workshop, “Leadercast 2022: The One Thing,” on Nov. 16 from 1-5 p.m. in the Peter Werth Black and Gold Room, Memorial Union.

Leadercast, a national organization for building up leaders, has a 20-year history of delivering development content. Participants in the workshop will learn through an interactive format designed to inspire transformative insights and motivation. Five influential leaders will discuss their unique views of the “One Thing” that makes a leader worth following.

“We have had a great turnout in years past and are thrilled to have Leadercast back on campus,” said Ryan Stanley, MDC graduate assistant. “This is a great event for any business or higher education professional in the area. I would even recommend this event to students looking to grow their leadership skills.”

Discussions will be facilitated by Dr. Robert Lloyd, associate professor of management and MDC consultant.

Other speakers for the event include Angela Duckworth, founder and CEO of Character Lab and New York Times best-selling author; David Horsager, CEO of Trust Edge Leadership Institute; Andy Stanley, best-selling author, pastor, and founder of North Point Ministries; Molly Fletcher, CEO, best-selling author, and sports agent; and Catherine Price, science journalist, teacher, consultant, and best-selling author.

The Chamber in Hays, Kansas, and Sunflower Electric Power Corporation support the Leadercast event through their partnership efforts.

“Without their partnership, unique opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible,” said Sabrina Gaddis, director of FHSU MDC.
