WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Reilly Madden and Emily Hutchingsof Fort Hays State were named to the MIAA All-Tournament Team on Monday (Nov. 7). They were instrumental in the Tigers reaching the semifinals of the tournament with a win over Central Oklahoma before falling to Central Missouri.
Both Madden and Hutchings played all 180 minutes possible over the two matches. Hutchings notched an assist in the quarterfinal win over UCO. Madden and the Tiger defensive effort produced the team’s 12th shutout of the season in the quarterfinals, which matches the program record for a season set by the 2016 team. FHSU limited the opposition to just 7.5 shots per match in the MIAA Tournament.
