KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men’s Soccer is listed No. 13 in the first set of spring national rankings released by United Soccer Coaches. The Tigers are off to a 2-0 start on their exclusive Great American Conference spring schedule. FHSU has four more matches against GAC schools to play yet this spring before the GAC holds a conference tournament in April.
The United Soccer Coaches released a spring set of national rankings despite the fact that several programs may not be competing in matches with countable results or stats. Several institutions are still unable to compete this spring due to COVID-19 restrictions in place. The Great American Conference is counting all stats and records accumulated this spring, but there will not be an NCAA Championship tournament in NCAA Division II this academic year.
The Tigers return to action this weekend at Southern Nazarene University on Saturday (Mar. 13). FHSU has outscored its opposition 7-0 so far this season.
Below are the first set of Spring Rankings by United Soccer Coaches. FHSU is one of three teams from the GAC listed in the Top 25, joining Northeastern State (No. 20) and Rogers State (No. 23).
