FAYETTE, Iowa – Fort Hays State moved to No. 19 in the first regular season release of NWCA Rankings. The Tigers opened the year No. 17, but slip to No. 19 in the latest edition while still generating the same amount of points. Brandon Ball and Efe Osaghae held steady in the individual rankings.
Fort Hays State receives 20 points in the poll thanks to Ball and Osaghae being in the individual rankings. Ball generates 16 points by holding the No. 2 ranking at 141 pounds, while Osaghae generates four with his No. 9 ranking at 165 pounds.
St. Cloud State leads the rankings with 99 points generated from its ranked wrestlers. Nebraska-Kearney is tied with McKendree for second with 72.
