The new members included Marvin Andrews (men’s basketball), Kent Bauer (men’s track and field), Jack Harms (men’s cross country/track and field), Bill Hall (baseball), Chris (Biser) Drea (women’s basketball), Kelly (Skidmore) Gunning (volleyball), and Maddie Holub (softball).The Tiger Sports Hall of Fame Inductees. Maddie Holub (Softball, 2010-13) giving her thank you speech. Holub is the most decorated FHSU softball history. By the end of her career at FHSU, Holub owned 34 records, many of which she still owns to this day. Her senior year, Holub was named to the NFCA and Daktronics All-American First Team. She was also named MIAA Player and Pitcher of the Year. Holub later went on to play professionally in Italy, before returning to her current coaching position at Marshall University. Maddie Holub (Softball, 2010-13) accepting her plaque. Kelly (Skidmore) Gunning (Volleyball, 2002-05) giving her thank you speech. Skidmore, the volleyball team’s libero, was a two-time All-America selection. As a junior and senior, Skidmore earned All-Region and All-RMAC First Team honors. Skidmore was also named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Year three times. Kelly (Skidmore) Gunning (Volleyball, 2002-05) accepting her plaque. Chris (Biser) Drea (Women’s Basketball, 1986-90) giving her thank you speech. Biser is one of twenty 1,000+ point scorers in FHSU Women’s Basketball history. Biser was a three-time All-CSIC player and an all-district 10 selection. Biser went on to have a successful coaching career for 25 years. Chris (Biser) Drea (Women’s Basketball, 1986-90) Bill Hall (Baseball, 1974-76) giving his thank you speech. Hall was a two-time all-conference All-District 10 player for FHSU. His senior year he earned All-America Honors and helped lead his team to an NAIA National Tournament Appearance for the second year. Bill Hall (Baseball, 1974-76) Jack Harms (Cross Country/Track and Field, 1963-66) giving his thank you speech. Harms was a four-time All-America runner and was a part of FHSU’s national champion cross country team twice. In 1966, Harms was the NAIA National Indoor Champion in the 800m. He finished third at Nationals in the event and earned All-America honors that year for both indoor and outdoor track. Jack Harms (Cross Country/Track and Field, 1963-66) Kent Bauer (Track and Field, 1959-62) giving his thank you speech. As a senior, Bauer was the NAIA National Champion in pole vault. Bauer was a two-time All-America pole vaulter and was the CIC Champion in pole vault his junior and senior year. Bauer was also the recipient of the FHSU Busch Gross Award. Marvin Andrews (Men’s Basketball, 1951-55)(Posthumous) was one of 20 players in FHSU Men’s Basketball history to score 1,000+ points in their career. Andrews was a three-time All-CIC for FHSU, and he earned first team honors his junior and senior year. His junior year, Andrews broke the FHSU single-season scoring record, and broke his own record again his senior year.
