FHSU Advanced Production Student Organization to host Media Festival

The Advanced Production Student Organization (APSO) is presenting the 2018 Big Creek Media Festival.

Students at Fort Hays State University have a tried and true history of producing quality, award-winning content covering all aspects of media, including video, audio, live events, and still photography. This year, Advanced Production Student Organization is hosting its first ever media festival and awards show to showcase the creativity and talent of FHSU students to the public and the university community and to celebrate our work.

The Festival will take place at Malloy Hall on Saturday, April 14th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Any FHSU student or alum is encouraged to submit their visual or audio work in these select categories:

  • Documentary
  • News Feature — TMN
  • Newscast
  • Comedy
  • Narrative
  • Promotional/PSA
  • Music Video
  • Art/Experimental Video
  • Photography
  • Screenplay/Writing
  • Other

Deadline for entry is April 6th at 11:59 p.m.

Work must have been produced in the last 2 years as an FHSU student.

A select panel of student and faculty judges will judge the works submitted, and the winners will be announced and shown during the festival. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners.
