After coming up short against the No. 2 nationally ranked Northwest Missouri State Bearcats this past Saturday, the Fort Hays State University men’s basketball team faced the Lincoln Blue Tigers in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Tigers struggled to defend shots from beyond the arc throughout the game and were unable to end their seasonal road woes with a 77-56 defeat Thursday night. With the loss, FHSU is now 1-5 in true road games on the season.
On the night, Fort Hays allowed 13 successful three-point attempts (8 in the first half). LU led by seven at halftime before extending their advantage to double-digits early in the second half and never looking back.
