FHSU Volleyball Still Searching for Home Victory

BY BRYAN WEBER

Fort Hays Volleyball took to the court on Saturday afternoon, facing up against the overall 10-9 Northwest Missouri State. The Bearcats had no mercy for the Tigers, taking all three sets in a swift fashion. The Tigers poor defense lead to the second highest hitting percentage this season for the Bearcats.

Kylie Rollman (#32) and Sydney Dixon (#22) accounted for more than half of the team’s’ 36 kills while Amirah Bentley (#45) and Becca Page (#10) made up 30 of the team’s 33 assists throughout the series.

After losing last night’s home game against the University of Central Missouri (1-3 [25-21, 15-25, 20-25, 12-25]), the Tigers will face up against the Lindenwood Lions tonight, Friday, October 13, at 6 pm at Gross Memorial Coliseum.
