Three Earn MIAA Academic Honors from Tiger Tennis

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three student-athletes on the Fort Hays State tennis team earned a spot on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, announced Monday (May 8) by the league office. Jessica Johnson, Taylor Noel and Haley Weidemann received the honor for the Tigers. In total, 75 individuals from around the conference earned the award.

To achieve honor roll status, an individual must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or above and have at least two terms of attendance at FHSU, excluding summer terms. Newcomers will be recognized at the conclusion of the spring semester.

Johnson earned the award for the third-straight season, carrying a 3.91 GPA as a General Studies major. Noel was listed for the second year in a row after earning a 3.14 GPA as an Agricultural Business major. Weidemann also picked up the accolade for the second time, holding a 3.35 GPA as a Business Administration major.
