Layton Werth was the lone individual champion for the men as he won the 5,000 meters in a time of 15:07.49.
The Tigers had three other athletes post top-three finishes in their respective events. Kolt Newell finished second in the high jump with a height of 6 feet, 6.75 inches. He tied the winning height, but the meet champion cleared an earlier height in fewer attempts. Brock Elgin finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:08.27. Weston Riner placed third in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 55.36 seconds.
The Tigers will get some time off now, before they return to action on April 1, when they host the Alex Francis Classic, the first track and field event at the brand new FHSU Track and Field Facility.
