EDMOND, Okla. – Fort Hays State Tennis fell to Central Oklahoma on Sunday by a score of 9-0. The Tigers moved to 6-6 overall and 0-2 in the MIAA, while Central Oklahoma improved to 12-4 overall and 1-1 in the MIAA.
The Bronchos swept all the singles matches in straight sets and allowed only four points to FHSU in doubles action. Laura Jimenez-Lendinez and Haley Weidemann were able to score the most points in singles matches, each with three.
The Tigers host a pair of conference matches this coming week in Hays. The Tigers host Northwest Missouri State on Wednesday (Mar. 23) at 2 pm, then Missouri Western on Friday (Mar. 25) at 2 pm.
