Fort Hays State is looking to snap a six-game losing streak to the Gorillas in Pittsburg. FHSU has not won inside John Lance Arena since the 2008-09 season. The Tigers lost by six points in Pittsburg last year in a battle of top 10-ranked teams, when FHSU was ranked No. 2 in the nation and PSU was No. 10.

The Tigers are looking to keep pace with Missouri Western in the MIAA standings. Both teams have two losses in conference play, but the Griffons have played one more game than the Tigers and have one more win.

Fort Hays State won the first meeting between the teams this year in Hays by a score of 77-57. FHSU has four players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Chelsea Mason at 12.9 points per game and Jill Faxon at 12.6 per game. Paige Lunsford and Beth Bohuslavsky are each averaging 11.3 per game. Bohuslavsky is coming off a career-high 27 points against Southwest Baptist this past Saturday. The Tigers reached the 20-win mark for the fifth consecutive season with their win last Saturday, which extended the school record for that feat.
