Fort Hays State Volleyball earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 season. Fort Hays State was one of 113 women’s programs at the NCAA Division II level to earn the honor.
The award honors teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average. The Tigers finished with a team GPA of 3.31 for this past academic year. Fort Hays State was one of eight schools from the MIAA to earn the distinction, which also included Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma, Emporia State, Missouri Southern, Missouri Western, Northwest Missouri State, and Pittsburg State.
